Offering for sale a fabulous and quite rare Arts & Crafts necklace from Austria and so marked on the back. It features a fine enamel pendant with red, aqua, black, lime green and royal blue; the center a flower with central marcasite and four mother of pearl and four yellow topaz-color stones; a center drop green glass bead and more matching enamel pendant and yellow stone. It is strung on a "chain" of sorts consisting of black ribbons, more matching enamel links, more metal links with the yellow stones and green beads and black facet glass beads. The total length laid flat is 12 & 1/4", which would be a little over 20" around when worn; the center pendant is 1 & 5/8" long. We purchased this from a fine antiques & jewelry dealer over 25 years ago and have enjoyed it as one of the finest pieces in our collection. It is beautiful when worn. The enamels are in very good condition, may have some mild wear or tiny tiny flea bites, but no significant damage, no repairs. The black grosgrain ribbons do have wear and could easily be replaced.
