Fabulous Middle Eastern tribal necklace or belt, assumed Pakistani due to Pakistan coins, many assumed glass "jewels" set in the metalwork pendants, all strung on a black woven cotton strap all original. We acquired this from a collector of Middle Eastern. This is the largest longest one we had ever seen. It is very heavy to wear but very elegant, and does "jingle" when you move, would be a great piece for a belly dancer, but also makes a fabulous wall hanging. The overall length of the piece when opened up and laid flat is approximately 44", and the center largest medallion is 2 & 1/2" wide by 4" long counting the dangling jangles. The metal is a silver tone, and the collector said it is low grade silver, meaning less content than sterling, we have not had it tested as that would be irrelevant, no one in their right mind would melt down this beauty. The collector had four of these all slightly different and we bought all of them. Email us if interested in more than one.
