Nice old Italian Florentine wall shelf, some type of plaster or chalkware material, with gesso and gold gilt over, very shiny still, has had a repair on the lower projection which is barely noticeable from the front, show more on the back. This nice piece measures 5 & 1/2" at the widest place and is 7 & 3/4" long.
