Miniature Oriental Japanese Screen

Lovely vintage miniature screen from Japan, with original label on the back Toyo Japan, and also the original tag from the store from which it was sold in Scottsboro Alabama. It has fabric borders with the four lovely panel prints; although it has the appearance of being a four panel screen, the screen actually only has one center fold, so it folds out in two sections with black border and brass corners. It measures 10 & 1/4" across when laid out flat and is 6" tall The print is lovely, with bonsai trees and birds, etc with shiny gold, green, red and other shades. Some age wear on the print as expected as these were usually not lacquered, mostly at the fold, but still a lovely screen.
