The most fabulous sterling silver vanity hand mirror we ever had, by Gorham, hallmarked for the last quarter of the 19th Century, and also marked "sterling 300" for their style number. It measures 8 & 3/4" long and 4 & 3/4" wide and is in overall good condition. We see a few minor dings on the edges, see photos, and a little minor clouding or smoky / ghosting on the mirror, still quite usable. The mirror except for the center cartouche is totally covered in deep repousse flowers and other designs, literally dripping with the fine silver metalwork. The mirror is beveled and believed to be the original. Fabulous piece, it came to us in a "set" with a near matching hand brush of a different maker, also for sale in this shop.
