One of the largest and prettiest "lobster" bowls we ever had. This lovely dish has four sections for serving with a huge lobster for the handle with big eyes. Each of the bowl sections has lovely hand painted flowers, in tones of purple, golden yellow, pink and other colors, all in rich antiqued shades, plus the elegant lobster. This server measures 17" long, 11" wide and is 3" tall at the sides and 5" tall at the top of the lobster handle. It is in good structural condition with some mild very small chips of the finish here and there, no significant damage. It has a maker mark on the base with enough wear that we can not identify it, if anyone knows who it is, kindly contact us! This piece is of a fine pottery material and is old, coming from a very wealthy estate.
