Older Native American man's belt buckle, fancy metalwork with one large stabilized turquoise nugget and one piece coral amidst designs of flower, wings with engraving, Navajo silver tears, and engraved border with side rope. This buckle measures 4" long by 3" tall and is signed with a conjoined AL (best guess). We have been unable to find this exact artist with this exact shaped signature. This buckle came from the estate of a man in his nineties as part of a collection he had worn most of his adult life, placing this circa 1960. The silver tone metal tests sterling. Really unusual designs on this one. Look at our other items, we acquired many pieces from this same man's collection.
