Unusual Native American bracelet of marked sterling silver and featuring a center turquoise stone of a green almost opal-like patina, nice marbled matrix, quite unique, we do not know the variety, it is stabilized, topped with two nice silver leaves and also three Navajo tears. It is signed on the inside "sterling", Sam P. and also H.M.I.J. The center of the bracelet is1 & 3/8 " tall and it should fit an average female wrist, plus the sides are pliable to adjust for larger or smaller. Beautiful bracelet circa 1970. Possibly made by Sam Platero. The HMIJ stands for hand made Indian Jewelry.
