Very old large parrot statue or figurine on original wire swing, and actually seems to be a bank, with open slot on back of head. Believed to be of plaster or chalk ware, bird is intact with scraping of the finish in many areas due to age, see photos. No significant damage to the body though, and the paint color still very rich and actually he is beautifully painted with good colors. The eyes look like glass but are not, just finely painted. He measures 18.5" tall from tip of tail to top of head. When hanging on his swing, the total height is about 22" tall. When looking at the tail, there may have been a very old repair with repainting over it, but hard to tell, what I am seeing may be original to the bird. I have never seen another like this one, and bought it many decades ago for my own home as display. He is ready for a new home now.
