This beautiful circa 1940’s brooch is signed “Sterling Craft” in block letters above “Coro” in script. “Sterling” is also marked on the well-functioning fur clip mechanism. All of the clear rhinestones are present and pretty in the silver tone swirl tying the gold plated sterling silver ribbons together. There is minor plating wear that is more pronounced on the prongs of the clip. The piece measures 2 ½ by 1 5/8 inches ( cm).
I have believed that the attached patent was for this fur clip, but it differs in some aspects from the clip. I include it so that you can be the judge!
