I love these swirling retro brooches! This one is marked Coro Craft (Coro in script, Craft in block letters) with the Pegasus flying horse mark and Sterling. The use of sterling and the signature would place this piece in the period between 1944 and about 1950. The sterling is gold plated, and there is moderate vintage wear to the vermeil visible under a loupe. The stylized bouquet is wrapped in a swirling ribbon decorated with tiny clear and larger red rhinestones. The blossoms are bezel set red stones beneath faux moonstones reminiscent of the “Clair de Lune” stones found in older Trifari pieces. The stones are all present and mellow but sparkling! This treasure measures 3 by 1 ¾ inches (7.6 by 4.4 cm).
