This marvelous 1940’s set was made by Reinad under its Sceptron mark and is found in blue on page 134 of Leigh Leshner’s “Rhinestone Jewelry”. The stamping on this brooch is imperfect, so the Sceptron name and part of the word sterling are missing. Champagne rhinestones and tiny clear chatons adorn the sterling vermeil bows. (Several of the clear stones have been professionally replaced.) The brooch is marked Sterling – legibly despite the imperfect stamping. The bracelet is marked “D.O. 12K/20 G.F.” and measures 6 5/8 by 1 1/2 inches (16.8 by 3.8 cm). The brooch is 2 1/2 by 1 5/8 inches (6.4 by 4.1 cm).
