This fur clip is just delightful! A young girl sits atop a globe reading a book, perhaps imagining the wide world that awaits her. She is dressed in a red skirt and green top, with red accents in the bow in her hair, her lips, and her shoes. This may have been a gift, as it was hand-engraved in beautiful calligraphy in 1941 to M.A.P.
Condition: Very good. The plating and clip mechanism are in great condition; there is enamel loss at raised areas, particularly the young lady’s knees.
Measurements: 2.6 by 1.5 inches (6.6 by 3.8 cm)
Marks: Hand-engraved, 1941 – M.A.P.
