This charming patriotic brooch has an unusual oval design with rows of tiny white milk glass stones separating prong-set red and blue rhinestones. Circa 1950's.
Measurements: 1.75 by 1.25 inches (4.4 by 3.2 cm)
References: In Julia C. Carroll's Costume Jewelry 101, page 273, a very similar brooch is described as marked by the Weiss style. Ms. Carroll notes that these brooches were probably sold as parts of boxed sets, with only the earrings marked. She further notes that Warner and Karu also made similar brooches.
