Jonette Jewelry of Providence, RI. made wonderful costume jewelry from around 1943 to September of 2006. Today’s offering comes to you likely from the late 60’s as they changed this mark “(c) JJ” to another sometime around 1970.

Measuring 2” across and 1 3/8” high the heart and most of the birds body are in unpainted Pewter. His wings and tail feathers are in a lite sky blue iridescent enamel paint while the spray of flowers to the left of the heart is in a very pale pink. I have seen others with more color in the flowers, but to me it looks like they intentionally wanted a whisper of color here. There is darker pink enamel between most of the flowers, but I believe this to be overrun. The flowers have black enamel showing in the middle of each flower.
