Hand crafted by Native American Joe Delgarito, a Navajo jewelry designer proficient in Southwestern images that are brought to life in beautiful Sterling Silver and Natural Stones.
Case in point, these lovely pierced earrings which measure 5/8” wide and 1 7/8” long from the top of the sterling Shepard's Hook wire, to the bottom of New Mexico's State Flower, the Yucca.
On the back of one of the earrings we see Mr. Delgarito's cursive letter “D” beside the Copyright symbol (c) and beneath that the word Sterling. The number symbol for Sterling Silver (925) is stamped on each of the Shepard's Hook wires telling us that these are, without a doubt, Sterling Silver from top to bottom.
There isn't a lot of information on many of the tribal craftsmen from the Navajo Nation, so there isn't much that I can tell you about this wonderfully talented man, but what I could discern from researching his work was that he was born in 1947, was in the U.S. Army, and lives in New Mexico. Also, some of the work you will see with his trademark was only designed by him, and also has the makers name or mark on it.
My Jewelry comes boxed and in a lovely presentation bag worthy of even the most discerning customer, because your treasure deserves nothing less.
