One would expect to find a Makers Mark on this extraordinary pair of Mid Century Modernist Earrings, but they are unmarked as to maker and are made of only a gold-tone metal.
Measuring 1" long and 6/8" wide, this measurement was taken on the diagonal of the overall shape. The Modernist that created these earrings used shape, pattern and form to achieve a stylization that looks; to me, to be that of a springtime Lily who's stem curls gently up and around. The square center looks to be brown, but this is only reflection of my camera actually. The center is a bright and shining golden color the same as the rest of the earring. Their flower petals are of folded filagree metal, that almost looks like lace and forms a cup on either side of the 3/16" wide square center.
Condition is as if they were new. No damage or marks or loss of metal plating to be found anywhere. Truly a treasure in timeless beauty to be yours for the taking. These are screw back earrings and will work well on a pierced ear also so there is no need to limit yourself to the style, or "kind" of earrings that you put on.
As with all my jewelry, you will receive it in either a silk or beaded presentation bag, or box. If it is original to the item it will be stated in the description.
