This is a very beautiful teaspoon. It dates to the early 1900’s and was manufactured by Whiting Manufacturing Company. It is an ornate design with ornamentation on the tip of the handle, all along the center of the handle and at the base. It would be a lovely pattern to collect or add to an existing collection.
It is monogrammed. The mono gram is E E R.
The back is marked sterling and Pat Ap. 23, 1901.
The spoon measures approximately 6” long and the bowl is 1 ¼” across. It weighs 51.1 g.
The condition is very good. There are some light scratches commensurate with age. It could use a little more polishing.
