This beautifully designed set of 12 sterling silver teaspoons was made by William B. Durgin Co. It is monogrammed with initials that look like either B L or B S. This is a very popular pattern probably because of its understated elegance.
They are marked Sterling and Patent and have the maker’s mark.
The set was first issued during 1910.
They measure approximately 5 ¾ inches in length.
The condition is good – there is slight wear as expected with age. One spoon however has some nicks around the edges of the bowl and on the back of the bowl.
They weigh approximately 10.5 oz.
Close up images were taken under magnification and exaggerate imperfections.
