This is a small simple and elegant sterling silver round plate. It is marked with the identifying marks 16 - 2, and sterling. It dates to the early 1900's. The mark is registered to Gustave F. Kolb. It has the manufacturer's mark of a k within a cross. It is very small and didn't photograph. It measures approximately 6" in diameter. It has decorative thin banding along the edge. It is almost identical to the Lord Saybrook pattern produced by International Silver.
It is in nice condition but has a few minor dings and light surface scratches.
This is a beautifully and simply designed plate and would grace many beautiful table settings and styles.
We apologize for the quality of the pictures. The surface is highly reflective and difficult to shoot.
