This is a beautifully designed jack in the pulpit vase. It is emerald green colored glass decorated with silver overlay in the form of vines and leaves around the edge. The maker is Duncan and Miller. The vase is one of their earlier pieces and dates to around the 1920's. We have been able to ascertain that they also made the vase in opalescent blue and one in clear glass.
It measures approximately 5 ½" in diameter at its widest point and 5" tall. The bottom base is approximately 2 ¾" in diameter.
It is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or discoloration. The silver overlay is tarnished and has not been recently polished.
