This beautiful Victorian era green trumpet vase has dusty pink hand painted flowers and gold leaves on it. It has a beautifully ruffled edge and a ruffle of applied clear glass around the center. The vase tapers down from the top and then widens up at the bottom with a pedestal foot. It has a ground pontil on the bottom. It is unsigned. It measures approximately 13" long and 5" in diameter at the top. The base measures approximately 4" in diameter. It has some wear on the hand painted flowers and leaves and on the gold along the ruffled edge, some mineral deposits on the inside bottom and a manufacturing imperfection in the base. There are no chips or cracks or other condition problems. The vase is elegant and stately and would look fabulous on a banquet table or gracing an entrance hall. It would work well in almost any setting where you would like to make a statement.
