This is a beautiful Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) goblet in the hard to find Flower Band Pattern. This pattern is also known as Frosted Flower Band and as Bird Finial. It is a three part mold. It dates to around the 1870’s. The manufacturer is unknown but the American Pattern Glass Society believes that the manufacturer may have been Gillinder & Sons.

It has a wide frosted band decorated with flowers. The foot is not trimmed with the oak leaf and acorn motif as many pieces in this pattern are. The stem is ornately decorated and has a teardrop pattern around the base.

The goblet measures 6 1/2” high and 3 1/4” in diameter.

We have four available. The price listed is for one.

They are all in very nice condition but one has a slight rough spot along the rim of the foot. There are no chips, cracks or discoloration. Some wonderful people took very good care of them for a very long time.

Inv. Loc. PB Box EAPG 1
