This is a beautiful Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) footed dessert dish in the hard to find Flower Band Pattern. This pattern is also known as Frosted Flower Band and as Bird Finial. It is a three part mold. It dates to around the 1870’s. The manufacturer is unknown but the American Pattern Glass Society believes that the manufacturer may have been Gillinder & Sons.

It has a wide frosted band decorated with flowers. The foot is trimmed with the oak leaf and acorn motif.

The dish measures 2 1/2” high and 4” in diameter.

We have two available. The price listed is for one.

They are in very nice condition. There are no chips, cracks or discoloration. There is a slight manufacturing imperfection on one. There is little bubble of glass on the rim. Some wonderful people took very good care of these for a very long time.

Inv. Loc. PB Box EAPG 1
