This is a really nice clear glass ice lip jug or pitcher by Fostoria in the American pattern. Love the size and shape of this jug. The shorter size is easier to pour from and takes up less visual presence on the table when you want your centerpieces to stand out.
Fostoria introduced the American pattern (number 2056) in 1915 and continued to produce it through 1988. American was one of the company’s most successful patterns.
The jug measures approximately 6” in height, 6” in diameter and 8 1/2” from spout to handle.
The condition is very good - no chips, cracks or stains.
