This is a really lovely open handled, oval shaped serving dish in the very popular and distinctive Candlewick Pattern. It was made by the Imperial Glass Company of Ohio. The rim and elegant curved handles of the tray are beaded. It is a good size and can be used for serving many things other than celery.

The condition is very good. There are no chips, scratches or stains.

The tray measures approximately 11” by 5 1/4” across the rim. The bottom measures approximately 4” by 9 1/2” across. The height from the bottom to the top of the rim is 1 1/2”. The inside dimension measures approximately 1” deep.

Candlewick crystal was made by the Imperial Glass Corporation, a division of Lenox Inc. Bellaire, Ohio. Candlewick was first made during 1936. During its years of production more than 741 items were designed in this pattern. Imperial closed its doors September, 1982. Up until that time Candlewick was still being produced.
