This is a really lovely clear glass divided candy dish in the very popular and distinctive Candlewick Pattern. It was made by the Imperial Glass Company of Ohio. The rim of the bowl is beaded. The lid has a beaded finial.
The condition is very good. There are no chips, scratches or stains.
The bowl measures approximately 7” across the rim. The footed bottom measures approximately 4” across. The height from the foot to the top of the stem is 5”. From the foot to the top of the rim it measures approximately 2 1/2”.
Candlewick crystal was made by the Imperial Glass Corporation, a division of Lenox Inc. Bellaire, Ohio. Candlewick was first made during 1936. During its years of production more than 741 items were designed in this pattern. Imperial closed its doors September, 1982. Up until that time Candlewick was still being produced.
