This is a beautiful ruffled edge art glass bride’s basket. It is a lovely deep shade of pink over white. It dates to around the early 1900’s.
These bowls were very popular as wedding presents during the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. They were used to hold berries and fruits and the bowl would fit inside a silver or silver plate holder or basket.
The condition is very good. There are no chips, cracks or discoloration on the glass.
It measures approximately 10 ½” in diameter and 3 ½” tall. The bottom that fits into a basket is 3 5/8” in diameter.
