This is a really lovely, heavy hand painted glass pitcher. It has an applied handle. The body is bulbous and gently ribbed. It has a round footed base. The pitcher was hand painted with blue ribbons and old fashioned cabbage roses. In the center there are two love birds perching on a red heart.
It is signed on the bottom L S possibly the initials of the person who painted the pitcher.
It dates to around the early 1900's.
It is in good condition. It does show wear and scratches on the bottom of the vase. There are no chips or cracks. The glass is wavy which occurred in the manufacturing process.
It measures approximately 11 ½" in height and 4 ½" in diameter.
