The Good Housekeeping Cookbook contains more than 3500 recipes. Each recipe is kitchen-tested by the Good Housekeeping Institute, and contains 45 chapters, ranging from canapés to holiday meals. The book is beautifully illustrated in black and white and full color, including a helpful four-page display of various cuts of meat. It is fully indexed.

The condition is fairly good for its age and the fact that it is a cookbook. The covers are a little stained and some pages have creases in them.
