This is a beautiful and very desirable Royal Doulton Figurine named Premiere. It was designed by Peggy Davies who was a very popular Royal Doulton artist. It is marked on the bottom with the Royal Doulton manufacturer's mark and the name of the figurine "Premiere" along with a series of numbers: HN 2343, copyright 1967, Doulton & Co. Limited, RD No. 931277, RD No. 51179, RD No. 11080, RD No. 382/67. There is also an impress mark that is illegible. It measures approximately 4 ¾" in width and, 7 ½" in height.
The arm holding the opera glasses (the most fragile part of the figurine) was broken and glued back on. Other than that, the condition is excellent. The figurine has been priced for condition and, if perfect, would be hundreds of dollars more. This is an opportunity to own a beautiful Royal Doulton figurine for a fraction of its value.
