This is an old Cream of Wheat Advertisement that appeared in a 1916 issue of Needlepoint Magazine. The ad features the cereal, Cream of Wheat, being eaten by a young boy who thinks he is hiding under a table with his cat. There is a smiling chef leaning on the table. The ad reads “He Sho Thinks He’s Hidin”. The artwork for the advertisement was done by prominent artist Edward V. Brewer.
The ad was removed from the original 20th century periodical. On the other side of the ad is an advertisement for Charles Williams Stores of New York.
There is some discoloration due to age. The edges are a rough but would be covered up if matted or framed. There is a crease through the center of the ads. There is water staining on the bottom.
The page measures approximately 10 3/4” by 15”.
