This book was published by Frederick A. Stokes Company, New York, NY. Dolls to Make for Fun and Profit by Edith Flack Ackley was first published February 24, 1938. This is a second edition printed June 8, 1938. It is a hard cover. It has red cloth boards with black text and a doll. It does not have a dust jacket. It measures approximately 10 ¼” tall by 7 ½” wide. It has 107 pages and several blank pages at the end for notes and diagrams or whatever you wish to use the pages for.
It has a beautiful black and photograph of the author surrounded by her creations. This is a beautifully written book with clear and simple instructions, wonderful diagrams and full of inspiration.
It is in fairly good condition. The pages have yellowed some with age and the boards show age and a little wear. The corners are slightly bumped and there is a white mark on the front cover. All of the pages are intact and clean.
