This is a beautiful pair of brown patinated bronze sculptures on marble plinths created by listed artist Paul Ludwig Kowalczewski (1865 – 1910). Each statue is signed on the base P Kowalczewski. They are circa 1900. The bronze boy statue measures approximately 4" high by 2" at its widest point. The total height including the base is approximately 6 ½". The condition of the bronze statue is very good. The base has about three small chips, some light scratches and is missing the cover. The girl statue measures approximately 4" high by 2" at its widest point. The total height including the base is approximately 6 ½". The condition of the bronze statue is very good. The base has about three chips and some light scratches.
