This is a gracefully designed gravy boat. The manufacturer is unknown. There is a beautiful bird transfer painted on each side of the piece. One bird has a long beak and is possibly a humming bird or bird of paradise. The other bird has similar coloring, a short beak and different markings. The handle is very ornate. The rim has some scalloping detail. The gravy mold is blown out. It has a shell detail in the front and back at the foot. The foot is embellished with floral embossing. There is numbering on the bottom in gold gilt that looks like 7934 and 50. It dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's.
It measures approximately 8" long including the handle, 3" wide and 5" tall.
It is in good condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a little spotting on the inside bottom.
