This is a beautiful small early wood chopping bowl measuring 10 3/4" and 10 ¼" in diameter and 2 ½" deep. The two measurements for diameter are given because the bowl has shrunk and elongated with age. It has a ¾" rim around the outside edge of the bowl. The turn marks are visible on the outside of the bowl. The bottom is flat. The bowl is out of round because of age and shrinking over the decades. The bowl is so out of round that it appears to be oval in shape.
It has wear on the inside. There are some chips on the outside rim of the bowl. They are so old that they are worn smooth from use and handling. It's a lovely early bowl and you can see the aging and years of use on it.
