This is a lovely oval shaped platter. It is a nice example of American Dinnerware. It was made by the Globe China Company. The background is a creamy white. The edge is gilded in 18 carat coin gold. The rim of the platter is decorated with boughs of pink and blue flowers that flow out of two gold flower pots. There is gold scrollwork with blue stripes within it. In the center is a black heart decorated with gold and flowers. Within the heart are two blue birds.

The back of the plate is marked in gold: All the 110 pieces in this set guaranteed 18 carat coin gold, The Globe China Company.

It measures approximately 11 ¾" long and 8 ¾" wide.

The condition of the platter is good. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. There is wear on the gold gilding.
