This is a beautiful hand painted Moriage vase. The background is done in shades of green and brown. There are pastel color flowers on the front outlined in raised enamel. The flowers are pink and lavender with green leaves. There is beading on the front of the vase. There are two handles. The vase probably dates to the early 20th century. It is not marked.
The vase measures approximately 5” in diameter and 12 ½” high.
This vase is in fair condition, except for some flaws in the pottery itself. There are some small chips around the rim and an old repair where a piece broke along the rim. There is paint loss on the handles and on one side. This is a lovely old piece of pottery despite its flaws and showing its history. It has been priced for condition.
