This is a really wonderful pink luster shallow bowl or saucer. It dates to the early 1800's. It has hand painted leaf like designs around the rim. Each of the leaves is yellow in the center the outsides are painted in alternating blue and pink. There are small hand painted stylized flowers in the center that are surrounded with two think bands of pink luster. The rim has a wider band of pink luster.
It measures approximately 7 ½" in diameter and 1 ½" high.
It is unmarked.
The condition is fair. There is a crack approximately ¾" long that goes through the front of the bowl toward the rim. The crack shows on the back of the bowl for about ¼". The bowl has no crazing but there are imperfections in the pottery and glaze. There are light utensil marks and slight wear on the luster banding. There are a few small chips on the underside of the plate along the rimmed foot. There is a paint smudge on the bottom of the saucer near the rim.
