This is a really wonderful English pink luster teapot. It dates to the early 1800's. The lid and teapot have bands of pink. They are both decorated with green leaves, bands of pink luster and pink luster leaves.
It measures approximately 9 ½´high to top of finial and 6” in diameter at its roundest part.
The overall condition is good. It is nice and clean with no staining. There are some smudges in the decoration that occurred during manufacture. The inside of the lid has two chips, some roughness and a dark spot. There is some wear to the luster on the spout and on the rim. Please see all of the pictures.
