This is a beautifully designed sterling silver cigarette case. It is monogrammed WSR. It has striped engraving on the outside of the case. The case has a unique insert to hold cigarettes. The case can also be used to hold cards or money.
It is unsigned. It is stamped NIVOIS Cigarette Case, P. Lorillard Co. Owner, Patent Applied For, Sterling. The patent was applied for during 1915.
It measures approximately 5 inches in length and 3 inches wide.
The condition is good - there are scratches and wear on it from use.
Age: Early 20th century.
