This is a nice early stoneware jug dating to the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. The jug has a grayish colored glaze and is decorated with two blue bands at the top and two at the bottom. It has an old cork stopper. The jug is unmarked but was possibly made by the Toronto Pottery Company.

There is brown discoloration under the glaze on the top of the jug and expected crazing due to age as well as the usual pottery imperfections.

The jug measures approximately 12 in height and 6 1/2” in diameter.
