This antique hand forged wrought iron rotating broiler dates to the late 1700’s to early 1800’s. This wonderful piece would have been used to cook food in an open hearth fireplace. These items are also referred to as gridirons. It has a pierced handle for hanging and turned feet.
The broiler measures approximately 32” in length and 5 1/2” high. The rotating broiler measures approximately 14 1/2” by 9 1/2”.
