This is a nice antique clock dial face for a tall case/grandfather clock. It can be used for a clock restoration project or as a decorative art object.
It is tombstone shaped. The numbers are Roman numerals. The center has the clock maker’s name and location - Ja Donking - Liverpool. The clock maker was James Donking of Liverpool, England. The areas surrounding the clock dial are decorated with flowers. The top half circle of the clock face is decorated with the image of a woman wearing bright colored clothing reclining against a tree. The clock face dates to around the mid 1800’s.
The clock face measures approximately 19” by 14”.
There is wear and paint loss on the face. Please look carefully at pictures.
