This is the 1972 M. J. Hummel Annual Plate. It is the 2nd annual plate. It was produced by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik. The plate is done in bas relief in soft colors of browns, blues, reds, grays and yellows. The scene is of a little girl blowing a horn wearing a blue coat, yellow scarf, red mittens and holding a light and axe.

It measures approximately 7 ½" in diameter. It has its original box.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
I am selling this plate for a friend whose house was flooded during Hurricane Irene. Almost everything in the house was destroyed by water and mud.
