This 1960’s square bottom skinny tie is such a classic! The necktie is deep red and constructed of knit poly fabric with a textured weave. The square end is stitched across in white thread, and a satin band is sewn to the center inner section so it is comfortable to wear. The neck band is also the label and is imprinted, “Full Fashioned, Crochet.” Because this is a knit tie, it travels well. It can be scrunched up and tucked into the corner of a suitcase, and when it is pulled out, there are no wrinkles and it looks great.
The square bottom tie measures 59 inches in length and is 2 ½ inches across the tip. This necktie was marketed to the taller man and is longer than the typical sixties tie. It is in excellent vintage condition with no spots, stains, tears, or scents. I would say there are no holes, except, well, it is crochet. This is a great looking square bottom skinny necktie. Definitely a blast from the past!
