This colorful 1950’s wide tie is all about red, white, and blue. The design includes narrow white curving bands which transect the tie horizontally and red swaths which cut across the tie diagonally. The predominate color is medium blue, and the lining is, surprisingly, yellow. The tie has no maker’s label, but the fabric content label says “All Polyester Imported Fabric” with the WPL number 124 on the back of the label.
The necktie measures 54 ½ inches in length and is 4 inches across the tip of the blade. There is one thread pull and one very faint smudge, but the tie is otherwise in excellent vintage condition. It is clean and there are no stains, holes, or scents. This fine-looking vintage necktie is great for any occasion or for times when you want to wear red, white, and blue with a bit of extra flair.
