This 1960's Wembley is the vintage skinny necktie at its best. The tie is a deep brown color in plain twill with its distinctive diagonal ribbed weave. The label identifies the tie as “Wemlon by Wembley” and has a small red butterfly. The label also includes the suggestion that it be worn with a brown, olive, or black suit. Wembley first used Wemlon in 1962, and the Wembley tie label was changed to Wemco in 1968.
This tie measures 53 inches long and is 2 ¼ inches at its widest part. The tie has been professionally dry cleaned and is in excellent condition with no holes, spots, stains, or scents. The skinny tie, made famous in the 1960's by the Beatles, is still a great look.
