The traditional colors of red, white, and blue are combined with a geometric design to give this 1960’s tie a unique look. The geometrics are just slightly abstract—not enough to be wild and crazy, but just enough to stand out. The red, white, and blue geometric design is set against a very deep blue background which makes the lighter blue stand out. The pattern consists of elongated triangular shapes which are interconnected with red, white, and blue wavy stitching inside white borders. The fabric has a light sheen.
The tie measures 55 inches in length and is 3 inches wide. It is in excellent vintage condition with the exception of a pin hole on the back of the neck section, and a slight fabric pull on the narrow section. I can find no spots or stains. The tie has been professionally dry cleaned. If you are looking for a patriotic tie with a unique look or if you just like the stand-out red, white, and blue design, this tie is for you. It is an all-occasion tie, perfect for campaign events or a day at the office.
