This lovely 1960’s seed bead collar with its bright and cheerful color scheme is an authentic Sixties item. The choker comes from the estate of a woman who lived in San Francisco in the Sixties before moving to a commune. She hand-crafted the choker of red and black seed beads in a fringed collar style. It has a simple hook clasp closure.
The necklace measures 14 ¼ inches in length. It is in excellent vintage condition, although I did put a teeny dab of glue on two exposed knots to keep them secure. This flower child necklace is an authentic remnant of a fascinating period in American history. Furthermore, it is a great looking necklace with a lovely design and bright cheerful colors.
